Brief:
FEMYSO, a pan-European network of 32 Member Organisations representing Muslim youth in Europe, sought a rebranding for its 25th anniversary. They wanted a logo that embodied their identity as European Muslims.
Solution:
To create a new logo and brand identity system, I focused on transforming FEMYSO's existing 25-year-old legacy logo. The resulting logo effectively captures what it means to be a European Muslim. It incorporates the 12 stars from the European flag, signifying unity, solidarity, and harmony among the peoples of Europe. Additionally, an Islamic pattern representing nature and objects' spiritual qualities were integrated, giving the logo a distinctive FEMYSO symbol. The logo and brand identity system accurately convey FEMYSO's evolution while simultaneously capturing its identity as a European Muslim organization.
